Join Historian Matthew Wilkinson for our weekly episode of "Ask A Historian"
This week Matthew will be interviewing Amanda Templeton on the stories of those interned at the Trinity Cemetery, including the disappearance of a postmaster, a notorious Commodore, and connections to the oldest standing commercial building in Mississauga. Amanda has been a resident of the Streetsville area since 2009 and joined the Trinity congregation in the spring 2012.
She has always had a keen interest in history and preservation and decided to join the Trinity Cemetery Committee in late 2015. Amanda is currently working on locating missing monuments, documenting, cleaning and preserving where possible. Amanda is also a member of the Heritage Committee at Trinity with the goal of gathering and preserving the stories of the past for future generations.
#ApartTogether we continue to discover the historic people of Mississauga.
